Christmas Dog Bandanas & Personalised Pet Gifts
For a lot of households, the dog's present matters as much as anyone's. We print personalised Christmas pet gifts in-house in London — festive bandanas with your dog's name, cosy fleece hoodies, photo keepsakes and matching owner-and-dog sets — delivered UK-wide, no minimum order.
Christmas Dog Bandanas
The classic: a festive print — tartan, snowflakes, fair isle, candy cane — with your dog's name across it. Made in sizes from Chihuahua to German Shepherd (full breed sizing table on the Pet Bandana page), in soft fabric that survives an over-excited Christmas morning and the wash after. Popular lines: "My First Christmas", "Santa's Favourite", "Official Present Inspector", or simply their name in festive lettering.
Matching Dog & Owner Sets
A festive bandana for the dog and a matching classic bandana or printed hoodie for you — the Christmas photo takes itself. Families do this in bulk: one design, every member (fur and otherwise) in their size.
Cosy Gifts for Winter Walks
Our fleece pet hoodie — printable with a name or photo — is the practical present: vets suggest short-coated, small, older or lean dogs generally benefit from a layer once temperatures sit around 0–5°C. The pet carrier hoodie keeps small dogs warm against you on cold-weather walks.
For a Pet No Longer Here
The first Christmas after losing a pet is quietly hard. A gentle keepsake — a memorial canvas, a small framed collage, a bookmark with their photo — acknowledges the empty spot by the tree without making a production of it. Our pet memorial printing page has the full range, made carefully and always proofed with you first.
When to Order
Message us by late November for a relaxed run; treat early-to-mid December as the sensible cut-off for personalised pet gifts — everything is made to order and proofed before printing. Photo gifts: send the original from your camera roll, never a WhatsApp forward.

Choosing the Right Gift for the Dog You Actually Have
Not every dog enjoys dressing up, and a gift that irritates the recipient is not much of a present. Before you pick a design, think honestly about your dog's habits.
- The wriggler tolerates things only briefly. A lightweight bandana that slips on for the photo and comes off afterwards suits them better than a hoodie.
- The comfort seeker loves snug layers. A hoodie or carrier-style garment might be welcome.
- The chewer treats everything as a toy. Keep any printed item for supervised moments and avoid dangling ends.
- The show-off trots about proudly in anything festive. Go as bold as you like.
If you are unsure, start with a simple bandana. It is the lowest-commitment option and the quickest way to learn how your dog feels about wearing something.
Name, Nickname or Slogan?
A dog's registered name is rarely what you call them at home. Decide what you want to see printed: the full name, the daily nickname, or a short line that sums up their character. Some ideas that read well at bandana size:
- A single festive word beside the name, for example "Merry" or "Jolly".
- An age line such as "Nine and still naughty".
- A job title, like "Head of Cuddles" or "Treat Inspector".
- Their name with a paw print rather than a long phrase.
Short beats clever. On a small triangle of fabric, two or three words can be read from a metre away, while a whole sentence turns into a decorative texture.
Fitting a Bandana Properly
Measure your dog's neck with a soft tape or a piece of string laid against a ruler, and leave room for two fingers between the fabric and the neck. Tell us the measurement and the breed or type, because a deep-chested whippet and a thick-necked bulldog may need very different shapes at the same circumference. If your dog has a lot of fur, mention it, since fur can add visible bulk beneath the fabric.
Make sure the bandana sits high enough that it will not get in the way of the collar or lead clip. A garment should never restrict breathing, and you should be able to remove it quickly. If your dog resists, stop and try again another day.
Gifts for Dog Owners, Not Only Dogs
Plenty of people on your list would love something with their dog's face on it, even if the dog never wears a thing. Ideas include:
- A t-shirt or hoodie with the pet's portrait or name on the chest.
- A tote bag with a dog photo, perfect for walks, treats and spare lead bags. Read more in our tote bag printing guide.
- A matching item for owner and pet, which you can read about in our dog and owner matching sets page.
For a present that needs to stay a surprise, ask the owner's partner or a friend to send you a good photo. Do not save it from social media if you can help it, because small, compressed copies lose detail.
Photos That Print Well
Dog photos can be tricky, since the best ones are often the blurry, mid-action snaps. A few tips:
- Choose a photo where the eyes are in focus, even if the rest is slightly soft.
- Prefer a plain or uncluttered background, because we can simplify it more easily.
- Avoid heavy filters, which change the colours and make a printed result look different from the screen.
- Send the original file from your phone or camera. We will tell you honestly if it will not hold up at the size you want.
Group Gifts and Dog Clubs
Dog walking groups, training classes and neighbourhood meet-ups sometimes want a shared design, with each member's pet named. That is easy to organise: collect names and neck measurements in a spreadsheet, agree one design and send us the list. Remember that people often change their minds about the dog's name spelling, so double-check every entry before it goes in.
Things to Check Before You Approve the Proof
- Spelling of the pet's name, including capital letters and hyphens.
- That the festive design suits the dog's coat colour. A white print looks striking on dark fur, but a pale bandana against a white dog may blend in.
- That the text is the right way up when the bandana is worn, not just when it lies flat.
- That you have the measurements right and have told us about any sensitive skin.
After Christmas
Printed pet items last longest when you follow the washing instructions we give you, and avoid drying them on a hot radiator. For more detail, see our washing and caring for printed clothing guide. A bandana that has been worn on the big day often becomes a keepsake, so keep it somewhere safe.
More Pet Gift Questions
Can I order a bandana in a different language or with an inside joke?
Yes. Send us the exact wording and, if it is in another language, the spelling in writing. We will place it as given and show you a proof.
Can the festive design be changed after the season?
Plenty of owners ask for a design that works year-round, such as a name with a simple paw print. If you want that, tell us when you request a quote.
What should I send for a quote?
Your dog's name, neck measurement, the design idea and your deadline. Order early so there is time for a proof and any adjustments.
