Working Bandanas: Messages That Keep Walks Calmer
Some bandanas do a job. High-contrast message designs — "NERVOUS", "IN TRAINING", "DO NOT PET", "ANXIOUS — GIVE ME SPACE", "BLIND", "DEAF" — give other owners a readable signal before they or their dog approach. We print these bold and large specifically so they work at a distance, because a warning nobody can read isn't a warning. Getting the Size Right
Measure your pet's neck with a soft tape (or string against a ruler) where a collar would sit, and add 15–20cm for the knot. As a guide: small necks ~23–33cm, medium ~33–43cm, large ~43–53cm. Tie loosely — you should fit two fingers between bandana and neck. When in doubt, size up.

Safety First
Tie-on bandanas should always be loose and worn under supervision. Don't leave a tightly tied bandana on an unsupervised pet, remove it for rough play and sleep, and for cats keep it especially loose and supervised. A tie-on has one advantage over a slip-on-the-collar style: it's fully adjustable and doesn't need a collar at all.
