Designing a Usable Date Grid
Keep date numerals large and high-contrast, leave enough white space in each cell for handwriting (the whole point of a planner), and avoid placing dark photography behind writeable date cells. For wall calendars, the image sits above the grid — design them as a pair so the photo doesn't fight the dates. If recipients will write on the calendar, choose uncoated or silk, both of which take ballpoint.

Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK at 300 DPI with 3mm bleed, pages in order.
FAQs
Why does the desk calendar need 14 pages for 13 sheets? The reverse of the first sheet (facing the strut) is counted, so your upload includes that extra face. Follow our template and we'll check the imposition before printing.
Calendar or planner? A calendar shows a month per page; a planner shows the whole year on one sheet.
When should I order? Before Q4 — demand peaks from October, and calendars are seasonal. Ordering early leaves time for a proof check and hits the January-start window comfortably.
How do wall calendars hang? Wire-bound with a hanging loop; the drilled version hangs from a drilled hole.
Can people write on them? Yes on silk or uncoated stock.
Can I use my own photos? Yes — 12 to 13 images at 300 DPI make a personalised or branded calendar.
