Branded Corporate Christmas Gifts: Printed Hoodies, T-Shirts and Totes for Staff and Clients
A corporate Christmas gift is one of the few moments in the year when a business gets to say thank you in a physical form. Done well, it is remembered. Done badly, it ends up in a cupboard or the bin within a week. The difference is rarely the budget; it is whether the gift is something a person would choose to use. Branded clothing and bags tend to fare well because they are practical and personal. FabricForge prints hoodies, T-shirts and tote bags for staff and client gifts, from a few items to a few hundred, and posts them using DPD, Royal Mail, Parcelforce or our relay parcel service.

Two audiences, two approaches
The first decision is who the gift is for. Gifts for staff and gifts for clients work in different ways.
Gifts for your own team
These are about appreciation and belonging. A hoodie with the company name in a quiet position and the person's first name on the sleeve feels personal. It says the company knows who they are. The aim is for people to wear it outside work, so the design must be tasteful rather than a billboard. For team parties and festive uniforms, see our page on staff Christmas T-shirts and hoodies.
Gifts for clients and partners
These are about relationships. A tote bag with a small, elegant mark is useful to the recipient, and it travels with them through the working week. For a more premium feel, a hoodie in a high-quality colour with a restrained logo and a short thank-you note works well. Choose a design the client is happy to be seen in. A giant logo makes them an advertisement, and many people will not wear it.
What makes a branded gift worth keeping
- It is useful. A tote bag gets used every week, and a hoodie gets worn every cold day.
- It looks good without the logo. If the garment is attractive, the logo becomes a small bonus.
- It is the right size. A badly fitting hoodie never leaves the box, so offer a size choice where you can.
- It carries a personal touch. A name, a role or a short message.
- It arrives on time and well packed. The unboxing is part of the gift.
Product ideas
Hoodies
The premium option. Choose a plain, good-quality colour such as charcoal, black, navy or forest green. A small chest logo or a back print with a subtle line works well.
T-shirts
Good for larger numbers and a lower-key gift. They suit teams in warm workplaces and events in summer or at the start of a new year.
Tote bags
Ideal as a client gift or as a wrapper for other items. A well-designed tote is useful for years, and the design can be a more graphic or illustrated one than a garment. See custom tote bags and Secret Santa tote bags.
Handling logos and brand rules
Companies often have strict rules about how the logo appears: minimum size, clear space around it, approved colours. Get the official artwork from whoever manages the brand, and ask them to approve the mockup. Send the logo as a vector PDF or a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background. A pixelated logo prints badly and reflects badly on the brand. We can resize and position the logo but we do not design from scratch, so send us the finished files.
Personalisation at scale
Putting a name on each gift is the single detail that makes it feel chosen. For a list of fifty people, the effort is mostly in preparing the list. Provide the names spelt exactly as they should appear, with the garment size for each person, in one clear list. We lay out each name in the mockup so you can check every one before printing. Spelling errors in a client's name are costly, so ask a second person to check.
If you do not know sizes, one approach is to send a sizing request to each recipient, with a deadline. Another is to choose the oversized fit, from S to 3XL, which is forgiving. Standard adult sizes run from S to 5XL.
Budgets and quantities
We do not publish prices on this site because they depend on the garment, the print size and the quantity. Tell us your quantity and what you have in mind, and we will give you a quote. There is no minimum order, so you can order a few gifts for key clients or hundreds for staff. For large orders, our guide to corporate bulk printing explains the process.
Timing for a business Christmas
Corporate orders have extra stages. Someone has to approve the budget, someone has to approve the design, and someone has to confirm the list. Each approval takes time, and each one can slow the order. Plan the schedule backwards from the date the gifts must land. A client gift needs to arrive in time to be received before the office closes, and many businesses close well before 25 December. A staff gift for a party needs to arrive before the party. Our Christmas printing deadlines page explains how to calculate the dates.
Delivery to many people
Delivering gifts to clients at their own addresses is possible, but each address needs a name, an address and a phone number, and the list must be complete before the mockup is approved. Alternatively, we can deliver everything to your office in one parcel for you to distribute. Tell us which you prefer at the start. Our page on how ordering and delivery work sets out what to expect.
The order, step by step
- Message us with the audience, quantity, product and date.
- Send the logo and artwork as a PNG or PDF.
- Send the list of names and sizes, if gifts are personalised.
- We confirm, quote and take payment before the mockup.
- You approve the mockup, with up to five rounds of changes.
- We print and dispatch. Next-day UK delivery is possible once the mockup is approved.
Presenting the gift well
A gift handed over in a bin bag does less good than one that is presented with care. For clients, a short handwritten card inside the parcel makes the difference between a promotional item and a gesture. For staff, handing the gifts out at a team meeting or the party, with a word of thanks from a senior person, gives the moment weight. If the gifts are posted, ask whether you want them individually wrapped or packed together, and tell us when you place the order. Wrapping and packing arrangements depend on the quantity, so discuss them early rather than the week before.
Avoiding common corporate mistakes
Several mistakes recur in corporate gift orders. The logo is the wrong version, and nobody notices until the mockup. The list of names has a typo, and a client receives a gift with the wrong spelling. The sizes are guessed, and half the team cannot wear theirs. The gift is chosen for the company and not for the person, and ends up unused. The order is placed too late for the office closing date. Each of these can be prevented with a short checklist: confirm the logo file, proof the names twice, offer size choice, think about the recipient, and work back from the closing date.
