Trade-quality DTF gang sheets, printed in-house in Enfield and shipped UK-wide — press your own transfers onto any garment, any colour, with no minimums and no setup fees. Upload one design or gang up dozens.

What Is DTF? (60-Second Primer)

Direct-to-Film printing puts your design onto a special film with white-ink underbase and a hot-melt adhesive powder. You position the film on a garment, press with heat, peel, and the print transfers — vivid, stretchy and wash-tough, on cotton, polyester, blends, light or dark fabric. A gang sheet simply means filling one big sheet with as many designs as fit — one logo repeated 40 times, or 15 different designs — so you pay for the sheet, not per design. New to the method, or weighing it against screen printing and DTG? Our DTF vs Screen Printing vs DTG guide covers the trade-offs honestly.

How to Press Our Transfers

  1. Heat press to 150–160°C (garment-dependent — we include settings with every order)
  2. Pre-press the garment 3–5 seconds to remove moisture
  3. Position film print-side up
  4. Press 10–15 seconds, medium-firm pressure
  5. Cold peel: let the film cool fully before peeling smoothly
  6. Post-press 5–10 seconds with parchment for maximum wash durability and a matte finish

Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause Fix
Transfer won't release Peeled warm Wait for full cool-down — cold peel means cold
Print cracks after washing Under-pressed / no post-press Increase time/pressure; always post-press
Edges lifting Pressure too low or uneven Check platen; press seams/zips off the edge
Shiny patches No parchment on post-press Use parchment or a Teflon sheet
Colours dull on dark fabric Fabric fibres pressing through Slightly higher pressure; pre-press longer

Artwork for Gang Sheets

PNG with transparent background at 300 DPI, sized at print dimensions. Build your own layout or send us the designs and quantities and we'll gang them efficiently — usually fitting more per sheet than DIY layouts. Keep 5mm between designs for clean cutting.

Storage

Unpressed transfers keep 6–12 months stored flat, cool, dry and out of sunlight. Don't fold; keep them in the flat packaging they arrive in.

FAQs

Hot peel or cold peel? Ours are cold peel — full cool-down before peeling gives the strongest bond and cleanest release.

What fabrics do they work on? Cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, denim — light or dark. Heat-sensitive fabrics (some nylons): ask first.

How durable? 50–100 washes when pressed and washed correctly (30°C inside out, no softener).

Do I need a heat press? Yes — a home iron can't deliver even pressure/temperature. Small craft presses work for small transfers.

Can I mix designs on one sheet? Absolutely — that's the whole point of ganging.
