Who orders personalised gaming T-shirts

Gamers have always worn their identity, and a shirt with your own tag on it says more than any store-bought design. Streamers and content creators use gaming T-shirts as on-camera branding and as merch for their communities. Esports teams, university gaming societies and clans order matching shirts for tournaments and LAN parties so everyone looks like part of the same roster. Gaming cafés and event organisers print staff and volunteer shirts. And a personalised shirt with someone's gamertag is one of the easiest gifts to get right for a partner, sibling or teenager who spends their evenings online.

If you are building a wider range of merch, our custom gaming merch printing page covers hoodies, bundles and creator ranges, and our personalised gifts for gamers page has present ideas for birthdays and Christmas.

What we can print

  • Your gamertag, username or channel name in a style you choose
  • Clan, team or society names and logos that you own
  • A favourite quote, catchphrase or in-joke from your group
  • Original artwork you have created or commissioned, or a design we develop with you
  • Player roles or numbers for team shirts

Shirts are available in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL, and the same designs can be printed on hoodies if you would rather have something warmer for late-night sessions.

Original designs only

We print your own creative work, not someone else's. We do not reproduce trademarked game names, game logos, characters, studio artwork or any other intellectual property belonging to publishers, developers or esports organisations unless the rights holder has given permission. When you send us artwork, you are confirming that you own it or have the right to use it. That covers logos you designed yourself, art you commissioned with usage rights, and team crests you created. If you are unsure, tell us what you have in mind and we can help you create something original around your gamertag instead. Original designs are usually more personal anyway.

How we print gaming T-shirts

We use DTF, which stands for direct to film. Your design is printed in full colour onto a transfer film, backed with a layer of white ink and coated with adhesive powder that is then cured. The transfer is heat pressed onto the shirt and the film is peeled away, leaving a flexible, durable print bonded to the fabric.

DTF suits gaming designs particularly well. The white underbase keeps bright neon colours glowing on black shirts, which is the most popular choice for this kind of design. Gradients, glows and fine pixel detail reproduce accurately because there are no separate screens per colour. And since there is no setup per design, every shirt in a squad order can carry a different gamertag without fuss.

Design tips for gaming shirts

  • Send artwork as a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI at print size, or as a vector file.
  • For pixel art, send the file at a large size so each pixel prints as a crisp square rather than a blur.
  • Dark shirts make neon and bright colours stand out; very dark artwork may need a light outline to show on black.
  • Keep gamertags readable: stylised fonts look great, but make sure the name can be read from across a room.
  • For team sets, decide on a shared layout and swap only the name, so the squad looks consistent.
  • A small chest tag with a large back design works well for streamers who sit facing the camera.

Gaming T-shirts for teams and events

Matching gaming T-shirts help a team stand out at a tournament and look sharp in photos and streams. Send us a list with each player's gamertag and size and we will set up every shirt individually on one proof. For LAN parties and gaming nights, a shared event design with each attendee's tag on the back makes a good souvenir. Societies often add the academic year, while creator merch might carry a channel name and a short slogan.

Gaming T-shirts as gifts

If you are buying for someone else, their gamertag is the easiest starting point because it is already personal. Ask a friend or check their profile to get the exact spelling, including any numbers or underscores. A short line underneath, such as a running joke from their group chat or the year they started streaming, makes the shirt feel made for them. If you are not sure about style, a clean, bold font on a black shirt is a safe choice that suits most tastes. For birthdays and Christmas, tell us your date when you first message so we can plan the proof and printing around it.

How to order

  1. Message us on WhatsApp, call or email with your gamertag or artwork, T-shirt or hoodie, sizes, quantities and delivery postcode.
  2. We check the artwork, confirm you hold the rights to any logos, and send a quote.
  3. You receive a free digital proof showing your design on the garment.
  4. Once approved, your order is printed at the FabricForge production unit nearest to your delivery address.
  5. It is packed and dispatched with tracking.

Quantities

There is no minimum, so a single gift shirt is welcome alongside full team and creator merch orders. Mix sizes freely and change the name on each shirt if you need to. For larger merch runs, request a quote with your numbers and we will reply personally.

Looking after your shirt

Wash inside out at 30°C, skip the fabric softener and avoid ironing directly over the print. Hang drying or a low tumble keeps the design bright for longer, so your tag stays crisp through plenty of washes.

UK-wide delivery

We produce each order at the FabricForge production unit nearest to the delivery address and send it anywhere in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Depending on the parcel, we use DPD, Royal Mail, Parcelforce or a relay parcel service. That covers a birthday shirt going to Sheffield, a streamer's merch batch for Liverpool, an esports society order in Aberdeen, a LAN party set heading to Cardiff and a clan order for Coleraine. Let us know your event date or gifting deadline when you first get in touch and we will confirm timings before you approve the proof.
