Why Piqué, and Why 220gsm?
Piqué is the waffle-textured knit that makes a polo a polo — more breathable and more forgiving of creases than flat jersey, and it hides light marks well, which is exactly what a working garment needs. 220gsm puts this in the heavyweight uniform class: substantial, opaque, and built to survive twice-weekly washing for a year-plus, rather than the lighter 180gsm fashion polos that fade fast in uniform rotation.

Branded Workwear & Tax: Worth Knowing
HMRC treats clothing with a conspicuous permanent business logo differently from ordinary clothing: for employers, providing branded uniform-style workwear is generally an allowable business expense, and staff required to wear and maintain a recognisable uniform may be able to claim tax relief on upkeep.
